Tahoe Bio Raised $30M To Build AI Models Of Living Cells

Updated: Aug 22

The Palo Alto, California-based company, now valued at $120 million, has developed a scalable way to quickly generate crucial biological data needed for AI models–and use them to find new cures for cancer. Biotech startup Tahoe Therapeutics has secured $30 million in funding to develop AI-driven virtual models of living human cells. Leveraging gigascale single-cell drug-response data (like Tahoe-100M), their AI aims to predict how cells react to treatments—with aspirations for precision medicine and scalable drug discovery.
